WHEN A HIGH NET WORTH CLIENT ASKED FOR A TESTIOMONIAL REGARDING OUR MD’S WORK, THIS IS WHAT A PREVIOUS CLIENT OF HER’S SAID:
“I believed I was wrongfully dismissed from my employment with X* in November 06; following an allegation that had been levied against me by a client I had cared for. After exhausting all the internal appeal procedures I was informed by Unison in March 07 that they were unable to support me at tribunal as I stood less than a “favourable” chance of success.
I was at my lowest ebb and wits end; I knew I had been treated unfairly by X* and that I had been denied justice. Although Unison had supported me through the disciplinary proceedings and to an extent through the appeals, ultimately when I needed them most they left me to my own fate. I felt betrayed and angry that a large organisation such as X could break the laws governing employment and my union was allowing this to happen.
After much soul searching and pondering I finally made the decision to seek help, whilst trawling the internet for help I found a firm. I filled out a short questionnaire surrounding my case and a few days later I received a response from Patricia Ogunfeibo, asking for more details, unbeknown to me at the time this was the best decision I had ever made and the start of a fantastic journey.
From the very outset Patricia never made me any promises except to represent me to the best of her ability. At first I viewed her methodology with great scepticism but as time went on I learnt to trust her intuition and knowledge.
I can only describe Patricia’s professionalism as fantastic; I found her to be non-judgemental, dedicated, truthful and friendly, a person of great integrity and genuine. Patricia helped me to re-structure my thought process (which proved invaluable during the tribunal) and was able to facilitate me with my disability. Patricia enabled me to gain a fresh perspective of my plight and through her experience and wisdom I also gained a fresh perspective of myself.
The Tribunal hearing was scheduled for three days in November 07; X* put forward in their defence a Barrister, Solicitor, three senior managers, a manager and an IT expert, in my corner was Patricia. Despite X*’s best efforts, Patricia maintained her dignity and professionalism and the truth prevailed, and we WON!!
I can honestly say that Patricia’s standards and that of her organisation was always of the highest quality, no issue was ever a problem.
Some people are only in your life for a season, I remember telling Patricia before we entered the tribunal “win or lose I’ve enjoyed the season” the fact that we won was the icing on the cake with a cherry on top.
Patricia helped me to re-gain my dignity, self respect and belief, through her guidance and expert knowledge of employment law; I was fully vindicated thanks to Patricia and her only promise, to represent me to the best of her ability.
Y*”
